Studies have shown that ill fitting shoes can lead to feet and back problems after awhile.



#4 - Never Skip A Workout

Perhaps that hardest part of maintaining your fitness level is making time to exercise regularly. While everyone gets busy from time to time, you have to make it a priority to never skip a workout day. Even if this means you only do a 10 minute workout, do it! This will train your brain to expect exercise regularly and trust me, you'll be glad you did every night before you go to bed.

Have you been writing a blog for sometime now but can't seem to get anyone to read it?  That is a common problem.  In fact many people that are not familiar with the world of the Internet just expected to write a blog and have millions of people instantly flock to it.  Sadly that is not the case.  Just how can you get other people to read your blog?


One helpful suggestion is to learn a bit about search engine optimization, or SEO.  SEO techniques, when done properly, will help get your blog listed in  search engines, such as Google. We can't discuss all the tricks here, but one suggestion is to make each blog post about a single subject.


For instance, if you are writing about your child's first day of school, keep your article focused on that subject. Use those words in the title of your post.  Name your article something like: Taking Your Kids to Their First Day of School” instead of: “Billy's First Day.”  The reason is to let the search engines like Google know what your article. This will help them find it and list it when people do searches related to their kids first day of school.  You might also be sure to include your title phrase once or twice in your article.


Another good way to get readers to your blog is to join Facebook groups or Internet forums that are built around similar subjects. For instance if your blog is about raising your kids, find Facebook groups on kids and families. Introduce yourself to the group and then start commenting right away. Make sure you comment on other people's posts and offer suggestions, tell stories, etc.  Get to know members in these groups well before you mention that you have a blog.


Once you do mention your blog, don't oversell it.  Mention it in passing. You might say something like: “That was a good experience. Something similar happened to Billy, my six year old.  In fact, I recently wrote about it in my blog.”  Then you can give a link.  Do that only once every 20 or 30 comments you make --- don't overdo it.


And while we are at it, if other people leave links to their blogs, go and read their posts and comment on those, too! In fact, you can search for other blogs on subjects similar to yours and go in and leave comments about things they have written.  Be a good online citizen and give good comments that show you are really in tune with the subject. Many blogs will let you leave a link in the signature line.


Another suggestion is to develop an email list. Ask people to join your list so you can advise them when you write a new post. You might even have something to give them if they join. One successful blogger posts a word game on her blog each week.  Folks who join her email list get the answers immediately --- others have to wait until the next week's post.


If you have a blog it can be frustrating when no one comes to read it. These suggestions should prove helpful in getting people to come and visit your blog.

1. Choose the right time of year


Caribbean cruises are normally less expensive in the fall and spring than they are in the winter or summer. Although the Caribbean gets hot in the summer there are also fewer ships which make the prices go up. Winter is the peak season and therefore the most expensive.


During fall and spring, however, there are many ships in the Caribbean but the prices are lower. Why? Because the weather is a bigger factor. So if you don't mind gambling a bit on the weather, fall and spring are the cheapest times to cruise.


2. Select an older ship


As the cruise lines build bigger and better ships, the older ships in fleet often are available on popular itineraries at cheaper prices. Many of these older ships are reassigned to smaller ports. You may be able to book a cruise on a ship that leaves from a port within driving distance of your home --- which will save you the price of airfare.


3.  Watch out for expensive excursions


When you get into port, the cruise line will offer many excursions. While it is great to have a ship sponsored excursion, these are often two to three times more expensive than booking your own excursions.



Of course you have to be careful to choose a reputable company when booking excursions, but these are not difficult to find online. Find a company that has lots of references and has a written policy on refunds. Generally it's better not to travel long distances with a local excursion company because if you are late getting back to the ship you will be left on the dock.

While caution is necessary, booking your own excursions can save a family of four as much as $200 or $300 in each port!



4. Stick to a budget on the ship.


When you are cruising you are not allowed to use cash on the ship. Everything you purchase is signed for --- then, at the end of the cruise, you are presented with a final bill. With this arrangement it is easy to overspend.


Watch your budget. Remember that alcoholic drinks are expensive. If you are a gambler you will probably find much better odds on the mainland. Premium restaurants on board are fine, but do you really want to pop $20 or $30 extra when the main dining room has wonderful fare that is also included in the price of your cruise?

Getting to Las Vegas these days is easy as flights arrive from all over the world, from a country like the UK you can be in Vegas within 10 hours from take-off to landing.

With so much to do in Las Vegas itself, not many people tend to visit the surrounding areas, but if you are there for a week or more it is highly recommended that you hire a car and take a drive to a few of the outstanding features in the area. Valley Of Fire

This is about an hour’s drive from Vegas and is an area of outstanding beauty. It costs a few dollars to enter the location but this money is used to keep the roads in good condition. The geology of this place is absolutely amazing, and the colors range from dark reds and browns, to light yellow. Some of the rock formations make excellent pictures for your photo album.

Hoover Dam

This amazing piece of human engineering is world famous and with the opening of the new bridge across the Colorado you can now get pictures of it that used to be only possible from a helicopter. Parking is very easy, use the multi-story on the Nevada side, or the open parking on the Arizona side. You can clearly see from the dam itself how much the levels of Lake Mead have dropped this century.

Mt Charleston

This is a beautiful sight from the valley that contains Las Vegas, and is usually snowcapped for about 6 months of the year. You can spend a few hours getting a tan next to a pool in Vegas and then later in the day drive up Mt Charleston and go skiing, now there are not many places that you can do that. It also means that your kids can finish off a fun day in Vegas with a snowball fight.

Death Valley

Although this is a couple of hours drive from Vegas it is well worth a visit. The area can easily reach 120F in the summer months, but due to the low humidity it feels a lot lower, so make sure you keep drinking water if you go for a walk. There is so much to see in this area you need to spend the whole day here, form the Devil’s Golf Course to Badwater, which is below sea level.

Las Vegas is an amazing place to visit and it has so much to do that you are never there long enough, but hiring a car will give you access to many places that the average tourist never gets to see.

While most of us enjoy arriving at our holiday destination, the preparations and journey can be incredibly stressful. Before you even begin to plan your next holiday, take a deep breath and remember that holidays are meant to be fun and relaxing.


Being in control of any situation can help alleviate stress. Control is gained by having the knowledge and the tools to cope with any situation you may be confronted with. So from the moment you begin thinking about your next holiday, start a travel journal.


You can choose to start an electronic journal or hand written journal. Keep in mind that things can go wrong with electronics so keep a printed version of your travel plans.


Begin by listing three desirable travel destinations. Keeping your list short will help you filter it down to one destination easily. Find out everything you can about travelling to the destination and not just about the destination itself.


What modes of transport are available? How long will each different type of travel take to reach your destination? Will you be crossing borders and if so will you need visas and is your passport in order?


Once you have narrowed it down to one destination it is time to consider what you need to take along. Take into consideration the climate and weather conditions at the time you will be travelling. Will you be travelling from a cold to warm climate or vice versa?

Make a list of the clothing items that you will need to take along. Now make a list of cosmetics, toiletries, etc. that you feel you may need. Lastly make a third list of all the essentials that are not covered by your first to lists.


A week before you starting packing for your destination, take another look at your lists and eliminate any items that you feel may be extraneous. The less baggage you take along on your journey, the less stressed you will be.


Leave any expensive or irreplaceable articles at home. This will minimize the amount of time you spend worrying about losing the items or them being stolen.


Make your travel arrangements well in advance. It may be more cost effective to book your own transport and accommodation but consider how complicated your holiday will be. If you are travelling to one destination, staying in one place and then returning home, you should definitely be able to manage the arrangements with minimal stress.


Alternatively, find a reliable travel agent to assist. Make notes in your travel journal of all the reservations your travel agent makes on your behalf and when the stress and worry starts to set in, give them a call to get the reassurance that everything will run smoothly.


Using a travel agent gives you the added advantage of having recourse if anything does go wrong on your journey. You can simply blame them for the mess and sit back and relax while they fix the problems.


Get to your destination as relaxed as possible and ensure that you return home with good memories of a great holiday.

You work all year and when it comes time for vacation you really need to relax and get away. After all, you only get one or two weeks a year for vacation, so it's really important that you choose wisely how to use the time that you have earned.  That's one reason why we frequently choose to take a cruise.   Is a cruise vacation for you?

One of the great things about cruising is that you will travel to several different destinations instead of just one or two.  You will get to see exotic islands, beautiful harbors, outstanding scenery and major cities. We enjoy traveling in the Caribbean and generally choose the deepest part of winter to go. It's a real joy getting off the ship in St Thomas or Ocho Rios and having the warm sunshine greet us, along with some marimba music!

One of the advantages of cruising is the price. You can find cruises that last seven days that are extremely reasonable. Especially when you consider that the price of your cruise includes not only your lodging, but also all off your meals and on board entertainment!  In fact, there is food available to you 24 hours a day at no additional cost and fabulous nightclub shows in the ship's auditorium.

One of the things I enjoy most are the days at sea between ports. Some itineraries have you in a port almost every day --- 4 ports on a 7 day cruise is fairly common.  I actually enjoy the cruises with 3 ports. That way we have a day at sea between each port. When you are at sea you can be totally relaxed.  My favorite thing is to lay by the pool and read a book while sipping on one of those drinks with the little parasol. I love hearing the steel drums in the background and the sound of seagulls flying overhead.


When choosing a cruise you can select from a number of different regions of the world. While we love the Caribbean, we have friends that choose to take an Alaskan cruise every few years. They love the scenery. We want to take a cruise in the Mediterranean next year and see some of the major sites in Europe. The trip we are thinking about includes Rome, Barcelona, and Athens.

Of course you could also decide to cruise through Scandinavia and even visit Russia. There are also cruises in Australia and New Zealand, the islands of the Pacific including Hawaii, Tahiti and Fiji, and even the far east, including Japan and China! There are now cruise ships in every part of the world.

Cruising is a great way to spend a vacation and I highly recommend it. So far my wife and I have been on nine cruise vacations and each year as we get off the ship we can't wait until the next time we can get back on! Every one of us loses hair every day.   We lose it during our shower, we lose it while we blow dry our hair or when we brush our hair and this loss is all normal.  Typically we lose an average of 50 to 100 hundred hairs per day and normally for each hair we lose, we grow a new one to replace it.  However, at times hair loss may be a sign of a more serious medical condition that needs to be evaluated by a dermatologist for possible treatment.  Here are some possible causes of hair loss in women and how to deal with them.

Alopecia

This is an autoimmune disorder where the immune system attacks the hair follicles.  This disease affects 4.7 million people in the U.S. and occurs equally between women and men.  The cause is not known for sure, but may be triggered by illness or stress.  The condition can occur in three in three different forms including alopecia areata, alopecia universalis and alopecia totalis.

Skin Conditions of the Scalp

Unhealthy scalp conditions that can lead to hair loss include psoriasis, fungal infections such as ringworm, and seborrheic dermatitis which is dandruff.   These conditions cause inflammation in the scalp which inhibits the growth of hair.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome

This is a hormonal imbalance where the ovaries produce too many male hormones and if affects almost five million women in the U.S.  The condition can begin in girls as early as age 11 and can often cause infertility.

Anemia Caused by Iron Deficiency

This condition affects women who eat too few iron-rich foods or who have heavy periods.  Their blood produces too few red blood cells which are necessary to transport oxygen to the cells throughout the body and which provides the energy we need to survive.




Lupus

This condition is an autoimmune disease which is chronic appearing spontaneously as the body attacks its own healthy tissues with its own immune system.  The disease tends to first impact women in their twenties and thirties and affects approximately 1.5 million individuals.

Hypothyroidism

This is a type of thyroid disease which affects mostly women.  This disease is when there is too little thyroid hormone produced by the body.   The thyroid hormone is responsible for heart rate, mood and metabolism.  Hypothyroidism is when the thyroid is underactive or producing too little of the thyroid hormone.  When there is too much thyroid hormone produced, it is an overactive thyroid and is called hyperthyroidism.   The thyroid hormone is responsible for everything from the metabolic rate to the growth of your hair, nails and skin.

Hereditary Hair Loss

There is a genetic hair loss condition which is known are androgenetic alopecia and this is thought to be the most common cause of hair loss.  This gene is inherited from either the mother or the father although it is likely that you will have both if both parents have hair loss.

Telogen Effluvium

This is a condition that happens after pregnancy, extreme stress, drastic weight loss or major surgery.  With condition large amounts of hair are lost every day, typically when brushing, styling or shampooing.  This condition can also be a side effect of certain medications such as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, beta-blockers, and antidepressants.

These conditions are more common than one might think, so if you’re noticing hair loss and it is more than normal, please see a doctor to see if there is something serious occurring.  Hair loss that is happening because of disease can often be treated, but it should be done under a doctor’s care.

Love to travel?



Travel has many points of views. It is probably not as fascinating to those who travel on business for obvious reasons but to those of us who travel on pleasure, we definitely look forward to them. You may be on your way to a nice destination now!


   Where to go? What to take? Who to go with? Yes there are a lot of factors on planning a good trip unless you are really spontaneous and feel like "winging" it.


   Most people, if you are like me, like to plan things ahead of time. For instance: Where to go? Feel like browsing the states? The usual comes to mind: New York City, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles. Whatever your style, go for it.



   However, three are many hidden treasures in our country. If you're a nature buff you might consider the Sequoia National Park in California. Perfect for hiking and just simply staring at these beautiful trees!


   How about camping? Oklahoma offers pretty nice camping sites near their lakes. Try Broken Bow or Beavers Ben sometime. Word to wise, avoid mosquito/tornado season. Eesh!


   If you are an adventurer that needs real challenges and surprises there is always the mid-west. The grand canyon can have the most intense rafting conditions on many rivers. Colorado might surprise you too with numerous activities such as rafting, horse back riding, skiing, snow boarding and for those shopping lovers they offer many shopping centers all over.


   Not an outdoorsy person but still like thrills? Plenty of amusement parks all over the states can accommodate to that. From Cedar point in Sandusky, Ohio down to Busch Gardens in Tampa, Florida these roller coasters will flip you in ways you did not know were possible.



   Last place you might think of for this type of entertainment is in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Stratosphere Hotel has few thrilling rides right on its rooftop. Just a little over a thousand feet high, no biggie.


   Also, if you are like me and would never think of skydiving, there is actually a simulated one you can try out in Las Vegas too. Indoor skydiving is a safer alternative if you will. You lay on the floor, turn on the high fan under you and hope the power doesn't go off mid-air: kidding!


   If you however are considering a real calm vacation and just want to kick back and relax you have plenty of options as well. If you like snow Colorado can help with that. Breckenridge is actually a hidden treasure not many know about and offers quiet cabins in the mountains with all the modern luxuries you can ask for.


   However, if you would favor warmer climates there is always the calming Florida Keys or the virgin islands. Many resorts and beach house rentals await. It does not have to weigh heavily on your wallet at all.



   Whatever your choice from thrilling to peaceful, be sure to take what you need, plan out the basics and just have fun.

Gratitude: The Personal Development Tool



If you are serious about improving yourself, what you need to know is that there are a few different ways you can accomplish that. Of course, what you need to know is that it is imperative that you start somewhere. A lot of the time, people get overwhelmed by all the personal development tools that are out there. That leads to no improvement whatsoever.


A great tool for you, if you're serious about improving your personal development, is to think of the concept of gratitude. Gratitude is something that can be exceedingly helpful to you in your quest to better yourself, and here are some ways you can put gratitude to work for you.


Think about what you are grateful for every morning. For most people, waking up is a chore. They wish they could sleep more often, and they don't cherish the idea of waking up and going to work. That's why you should make a real effort to get up in the morning giving thanks instead of complaining. Then, you start your day on a high note and you start helping good things to happen.


Now, it doesn't matter who you give thanks to. If you are religious, you may wish to thank God, but if you are not, it is as acceptable to just feel the gratitude in your heart.


Another way gratitude can help you is if you keep a journal about things you are thankful for. Keep the journal with you at all times so you can jot down notes if you need to. That way, whenever you are feeling down, or as if you don't have anything, you can open your gratitude journal and see all the things you like about your life. It doesn't have to be huge things you are thankful for, either. Even if you are thankful for jellybeans, that counts!


Express your gratitude for those around you who make your life a better place. We all spend a lot of time complaining about the people who make us miserable, why not take that time and talk about people who make us happy!


Look for ways to show your gratitude to people. You may not have much money, but you can write them a kind note. You can do them a favor, or babysit, or cook them a meal. Showing your gratefulness helps other people do to the same. Everyone has a tough time in life, so it is a good thing when you can alleviate someone else's suffering.


Finally, before you go to bed at night, think of times during the day where you were not grateful, but could have been. This teaches you how to act in the future.



As you can see now, gratitude can be a really important part of your life. Even if you start with just a little gratitude, it can grow into something that is beautiful in your life. If you want to see your life blossom, become someone who is more grateful.

From “I Can’t” To “I Have”



How often do you hear people say “I can’t do this”? All too often, isn’t it? Now, time to be honest with yourself, how often have you said it. “I can’t” can be two of the most dangerous words in the English language. Those two words are a big factor in people being unable to accomplish anything.


If you find yourself constantly saying, “I can’t” you need to change your thinking. In many cases, “I can’t” really means “I won’t”. Think about how often you say that you can’t do something. How many times is it just a minor obstacle standing in your way, something small that you will not try to overcome? Often, with just a little bit of effort, you can get around these small obstacles, and accomplish something. Take a look at what is standing in your way, think of ways around it, and “I can’t” can become “I can”.


Now that you are starting to think “I can”, you need to move on from there. Certainly, it is better to think that you can do something than thinking that you can’t. However, “I can” can also be dangerous. Now that you think you can do something, that’s a good thing. So, now you can, the question becomes, why aren’t you? I can is a good step, but at this point there is just the belief that you can accomplish something. But belief without action is nothing. At this point, you need to stop saying that you can do something, and do it.


The next step is to think “I will”. This is where you take a hard look at what you want to accomplish, and start thinking about how to do it. Write out your goals, and the steps needed to achieve the goals. Spend an adequate amount of time planning what you need to do to accomplish your goals. Do not spend too much time planning, though. It is easy to get caught up in the trap of over planning, and over thinking. At some point you need to simply start doing. You need to start taking action on your plans.


Now, you have reached the “I am” stage. You have overcome the fear and inaction of “I can’t”. You have moved beyond simply believing of “I can”. You have made your plans in the “I will” stage. Now you have to look at the list of steps to reach your goals, and start taking action. Just take it one step at a time and move closer and closer to your goals. Other obstacles may crop up on the way. If this happens, don’t let it stop you. Step back for a moment, and figure out a way around them. Keep moving forward and soon you’ll find yourself at “I have”.


“I have” is accomplishment. You’ve overcome your fear, believed that you can do it, planned it out, and taken action. Now you are seeing the results of your efforts. You’ve reached your goals. Think of some areas of your life where you can apply this. Apply these principles to your life, and keep moving from “I can’t” to “I have”.

Do not spend anything on Forex until you have spent at least a few months educating yourself about trading. Becoming a successful trader takes many years of practice and you will eventually get there if you start by learning as much as possible about Forex. Choose a broker you can count on. Some brokers have a bad reputation for a reason. You should also avoid brokers that were created very recently. It is best to choose a broker with several years of experience and an excellent reputation, even if they charge more. Choose a currency pair in function of the kind of trading schedule you want. Expect to make most of your transactions when both financial markets are open at the same time. For instance, traders who use the American Dollar and the British Pound can trade from 8 am to 11 am. Once you choose your currency pair, you will have to learn as much as possible about the two countries and their economy.

You should be comfortable with the technical and the fundamental analysis. Professional traders usually have a method they prefer but you should not specialize in one method or the other until you gain more experience. As a beginner, you can really benefit from mastering both approaches. Besides, there are situations where using both methods is the only way to make an accurate forecast. Read analysis written by professional traders instead of following your own forecasts. You can write down what you think will happen and compare your predictions to what happened at the end of your trading session.

The key to becoming a successful trader is to always assess your risks and minimize them. There are different methods you can use to minimize your risks, including going with the trend, never investing more than half of your available capital and using stop loss orders. Following the trend is your best option until you gain more experience with trading. Never investing more than half of your capital means you will be able to recover most of your losses in case one of your investments turns out to be a bad decision. Using stop loss orders means your investment will be sold once it reaches a certain value. This is a good way to stop your losses or to secure the profits you were expecting.

I love forex short term trading. I know and often preach about not trading short term for beginners but I do know that you will trade short term anyway. Short term trading is fun, it's high energy, and it's exciting. I love to do it and I love the game of trying to outsmart the market. The problem with trading is that boring trading is good trading. Yes, if you've read my posts before you know that I always say that. What we gain the excitement of short term trading, we lose in profitability and stability. My goal with this article is to give you a short term trading method  that will be more profitable that anything that you are currently doing.

The technique that I will show you is very simple and easy. Because it is so simple, we will first focus on the extra things that will make you profitable. The extra thing that will help you is having the right mindset. The thing about day trading and intrday trading is that it should be done infrequently. The setups that give you daytrading plays do not occur that often. Guys who are always in a trade are making low probability gambles. We want high probability trades to maximize our forex profits.

So realize that you will not have many trades with this system. You have to mentally accept this fact to understand this form of trading. You will need to find peace in trading less often to be happy using most profitable trading methods in forex. For me it was a hard transition to make because I was a forex scalper. I was making around 100 trades a day. I was in and out of trades at such a high frequency. I was a speed trader.

Follow The Leader

Follow the leader is a technique that I learned when I worked at a prop trading house. We only traded short term. One of our methods consisted of the following things:


(1) Add the 20 SMA to your chart

(2) Add the 08 SMA to your chart

(3) Open the 5 minute chart


We will only make trades along the 08/20 SMA. We are using the 5 minute chart so that we will have more trades. We call this method follow the leader because past data has shown that price tends to follow a direct process. When you see 3 bars going all in the same direction, you can guess that price will continue to go in that same direction. We are look for 3 bar all going in the same direction and we will make a trade in that direction.

We will set our stop loss below the bar that got us in the trade and we will seek a take profit equal to the previous bar. This is a method that is very successful but you have to follow the system. It can also be used on higher time frames for more accurate forex trades.

I am not bragging or boasting when I claim that I am one of the few successful Forex scalpers. It's a fat that most people never earn any money trading Forex, they can spend thousands of dollars on trading courses, they can ready every book on the subject but they will always fail.

These people fail because they don't understand the pure basics that you have to discover on your own. They come to Forex lacking discipline and their lack of discipline is often the source of their failure.

Successful Forex scalpers have self-discipline a lot of other qualities that Forex losers do not possess.

How did I come to possess these qualities. Let me tell you something, I was an undisciplined person my entire life. I always made average grades, I was fat and I never finished what I started. All of that had to go out the window for me to succeed in Forex or anything else in life.

Why is discipline so important when you scalp Forex? It's important because you can blow your entire account on one trade. It takes discipline to stick to your trading plan.

One of the most discipline related strategies in trading is money management. There are traders who always try to trade too big or who try to make up loses on one trade, they aren't following a money management strategy and they will soon go broke.

No matter what happens during a trade, you should stick it out and go with your plan. Your plan should consist of an entry and exit strategy. You should know why you are in a trade, you show know when to exit it. These aren't the decisions you want to be making while a trade is going on. This is when those two devils peer in to destroy you, fear and greed.


I promise that 100% of the bad trades you make are because of fear and greed. Fear that a trade is going to turn around on you, fear that you made the wrong trade, and your greed kills you when you try to trade too often, too much, and when you try to force more money from a trade.


Stick to your pre-trade game plan.

You do have a pre-trade game plan, right? Wrong! Most of you are just playing it by ear. Forex is your adult arcade game, it's only entertainment.

All I have to say is, thank you for playing! Your deposit will soon sit in my bank account where I will use it to earn more money. Never forget that trading is a zero-sum game, someone has to lose for someone to win.

As you can see, most traders have no idea what they are doing, yet they still call themselves traders. They treat Forex like a video game and everything they learn is just entertainment. Most will continue to fail because they do not take themselves are the business of trading seriously.

How To Deal With Toxic People



We all know them. Everyone has at least one toxic person in their lives. They may be close relatives or friends, which is why it may be impossible to get away from them. They can be draining, upsetting and make you feel bad about yourself. However, there are some things you can do to deal with these toxic people. Keep reading for more information.

The first thing you can do, if at all possible, is to cut down time that you spend with these people. They usually are the ones calling you all the time and trying to be in your company a lot of the time. You need to be able to tell them no. If they call more than once a day, let their calls go to voicemail. If they want to see you multiple times a week, cut that down to one. If you can't avoid them altogether, do your best to restrict interactions with them.


The next thing you might want to do is to examine why they are so toxic to you. This is something you can do on your own. You need to ask yourself why they trigger your bad feelings. Are you afraid you will end up like them? Are you said that they are that way? Getting to the root of why you feel the way you do toward them, you can better find ways to cope. For instance, if you are afraid that you will turn out like them, before you see them outline all the ways you are different.

Do not call them toxic, because they will likely become upset. Instead, choose a few specific actions that they take, which you don't like. If they are willing to change, that is a good sign. This is generally because they want to be in control of something, and when they can't control you, they don't like it. However, you don't need to get into every argument they want to have with you. Simply take a few deep breaths and think about peaceful things. When they see you are not going to argue with them, they will stop.


Find new friends to spend time with. In order to make sure that you can move on, start finding supportive people to talk to and do things with. This can be a great way for you to forget about the toxic people in your life. If you are spending time with good friends, you won't have that much time to deal with any toxicity.
